Welcome to my blog!
I call this blog Ón the Greener side'- I chose this name for two reasons which also says a lot about me:
1) The popular adage goes 'The grass is always greener on the other side'. I beg to differ as I believe that the grass can be greener on my side too, if I wish it so! This name reflects optimism and the choice that every one of us has, to be on the greener side of life
2) The blog name also reflects my increasing leaning towards a sustainable and green life style.
Since I also like travelling, I am parking some of my travel writings and tips here - I have heavily relied on others' blogs for planning my travels and hope that my writings do some justice to fellow travelers.
Having said all this, there may be posts in this blog which do not directly fall under any of these categories !
My motivation for writing this blog is two fold - I like writing and I have been told by people that they like to read my writing. So, it is as simple as that. Beyond this, if I am able to influence you / show you and learn from you also how to be on the greener side in tangible and intangible ways, I am very happy!
